About Me
Hi! 👋
I am Software Engineer that enjoys coding to better people lives. I am proud to hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Central College, which granted me a skillset to make technical ideas into reality. I was also privileged to work at Capgemini which improved my Java skillset working alongside incredible co-workers.
Skillsets
My core experience lies with Java, but I have experience with many additional languages and technologies. Notable languages & technologies that I have developed in/used include: JavaScript, SQL (NoSQL, MySQL, MariaDB), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Agile Methodology, Python, Swift, C++, & C.
Experience
After achieving my degree I embarked on a rewarding journey as a Software Engineer at Capgemini. While there, I honed my expertise in Java programming by successfully delivering projects that required both technical proficiency and attention to detail. Additionally, I enhanced my Python and JavaScript skills while working on an internal database project.
I also am proud to have developed and published 2 applications to the iOS App Store under my name. It was a fun and rewarding road to go down as I learned how mobile apps get created from start to finish as well as have polished apps that I use often on the App Store. From the graphic design/art assets I made, to coding all the behaviors, UI, and back-end networking, it all was a humbling experience. If you want to check them out yourself, here are the links! I have also acquired extensive networking experience through both academic and personal projects. My projects included administering a Multi-AP networks, managing domains, creating & renewing SSL certificates, implementing reverse proxies, configuring DHCP Servers, establishing VLANs, and setting up recursive DNS servers. These hands-on projects have deepened my understanding of networking while creating blazing fast networks with seamless and secure connectivity.

Personal Life
In my free time I love learning about technology and how it works, along with building PC's, learning about the latest and greatest Cars, and playing golf (both regular and frisbee golf!).
